At present, Infare is developing in response to the rapidly growing pricing intelligence needs of our customers, by scaling up at an equally fast pace. The appointment of Mikkel to the senior leadership team as CFO of Infare is therefore set to be a real asset to our business and a move that is an integral part of long-term Infare’s growth strategy. Mikkel has an impressive portfolio of experience, devoting much of his professional life to helping technology companies achieve rapid growth.
Mikkel brings a valuable strategic perspective to the CFO role and will help us capture opportunities presented to us by our excellent reputation in the aviation and travel markets, supported by our trusted product offering.
As a member of Infare’s senior leadership, Mikkel will develop our financial strategy to best support our Infare growth and create value for customers and shareholders. Having started out in management consulting for big-name companies like Deloitte, he has moved onto taking ‘C’ level roles in various tech companies. These include most notably, mobile payment provider Swipp; payroll software developer Lessor; and IT infrastructure provider Global Connect. Mikkel has spent a large portion of his career helping private-equity backed technology businesses to scale up rapidly and achieve sustainable growth, which makes him well-placed to help us achieve our business goals.
Mikkel will succeed Peter Freiesleben, following his significant contribution to the business during his time here is moving on to become an investor in young growth companies. Under Peter’s leadership, we were recognised for three consecutive years by Danish business newspaper Børsen, with its Gazelle Company Award – an impressive achievement given the prestigious nature of the prize. We are very sad to see Peter leave and wish him the best of luck in the next chapter of his career.
We have confidence that Mikkel will both continue his impressive legacy and take Infare’s commercial success and growth strategy to new heights.
