Senior Back-end Developer

Job description

Location: Copenhagen

Position overview

Infare is the leading provider of competitor air travel data that empowers airlines to make effective pricing decisions. Our mission is to fuel airline systems with high-quality competitor air travel data delivered daily, multiple times a day or live. For airlines demanding the very highest quality competitor air travel data as a critical piece in driving revenue growth, Infare is the partner of choice.

We are a growing and profitable travel technology company with a global footprint. With headquarters in Copenhagen, we also have offices in Berlin, Nice and Vilnius, and remote colleagues spread across the globe for customers’ proximity.

We take pride in delivering products and services with the highest quantity and quality of data. We do so by innovating and leveraging the latest technologies. We care for our people, offering personal growth, equal opportunities, and an excellent work-life balance.

We are a diverse and inclusive team with roots in our Copenhagen office and team members living and working out of Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and Lithuania.

The team is developing the services that ingest and deliver airfare data directly to our customers or to our business intelligence solutions. These components are crucial to our business, and to provide the customer with a world-class product. We focus on quality, low latency, high data volume, and cost-efficiency. In 2023, our main objective is to finalise the re-design of some of our services on AWS to become cloud-native. This will allow us to serve our customers’ needs now and in the future.

We have a clear long-term strategy. The airline industry has emerged strongly from the global pandemic. From extreme adversity have come new opportunities. We believe that airlines’ adoption of dynamic pricing and artificial intelligence will drive the need for more data, live data, and new data types. We have an opportunity to innovate and try our various technologies.

To make all this happen, we would like to strengthen our team by hiring a Senior Developer who wants to grow with us and bring innovation to our customers.
